Proposals are prioritized in order of skills necessary for execution and time to complete project. Clarity of RoleTo avoid any potential conflict with respect to KDK-Harmans's grant management role, the active consultant shall refrain from any grantmaking responsibilities and decisions surrounding their client (i.e. grantee organization) during the period of the consulting contract. All consulting engagements will be completed within the timeframe of the grantee's grant contract. Additionally, as the consulting services provided by the KDK-Harman Foundation are to be viewed as an in-kind gift of professional expertise purely independent from its grantmaking, The Foundation has adopted this policy to prevent any confusion of role or potential conflict of interest with respect to KDK-Harman's grantmaking functions.
